What a great evening hunting. This is what we have so far and we are still waiting for some kids to come in.
Monday Afternoon:

We have spent the afternoon so far with work on all 4 positions: prone, sitting, kneeling, standing
at the range by the lodge. They have been shooting the 100 yard target. At 4pm, they will head to the shed to clean their guns before going out to hunt again at 4:30pm. They will come in from hunting around 7pm. Supper will be at 8pm. I have a feeling these guys are going to be a little tired on Wed morn.

Out of the 8 kids, two came home with axis does this morning. Trapper killed a huge doe and Jessica from Happy Hills in Granbury killed a smaller doe. It was a first kill for Jessica. The first time she has ever picked up a gun was Saturday. The other kids will go back out again this after noon.
It is Monday morning, the boys are all out hunting for Axis does and Wild Hogs , we are waiting for them to come back in with the guides, so no pics yet. I am fixing to post some more from yesterday. Zach & Trapper got slighted on pics yesterday. Everyone was split up and Gideon was the only one left with me, so I did not get pics on them.

Will work on fixing that today!!

Sunday Evening 7:10pm waiting for Supper....

The kids had a great great day!!! they went out to the 500 yard ranges and every one hit the 500! I am trying to post as many pics as I can but it takes about 4 mins to upload ea pic.

Tomorrow morning everyone is up at 4:30am to go hunting, they are so tired and excited at the same time it is really funny.

They have been working so hard! They have had the best attitudes!
Sunday Morning - Mar 29th
We just finished a great breakfast, Big ham steaks and pancakes! The boys are fixing to head out to the 500 yard ranges and marksmanship practice. They will do that for 4 hours until lunch at 12:30.
After Lunch They will head back out to 4 more hours of practice till supper at 8pm.

They are having a blast.
I asked them what made a difference in their shooting yesterday.

Zach say's " Yesterday he learned how to do a better prone position and absorb the Kick.
Gideon say's Yesterday he learned how to correctly grip the handle on the rifle to shoot.
Trapper say's he learned how to correct his scope for focus.

This is amazing! I have tons of photo's and will make everyone a disc when we are through, but, it takes about 4 minutes to post each picture to the blog. We are on dial up.
